FOUND – Spinella, Stolen Dog in Finsbury Park

Much loved blind dog needs daily medication

UPDATE: Tuesday 2 February. Spinella has been located and is at Waltham Forest Dog Pound. Thank you so much All Dogs Matter for helping to locate her and a zillion thanks to everyone that retweeted and spread the word.

spinellaMy good buddy and employee Alessandra, has had her beloved dog Spinella, stolen from outside the 99p store near Finsbury Park Station at approximately 3pm today. CCTV captured by a man and woman in hoodies, taking her and walking towards Barclays bank (I think St Thomas Street).

Spinella is a tan/black/brindle cross-breed hunting type female, 7 years old, who went blind in 2014 (has slight vision from corner of her eyes and tilts her head a certain way) and I am concerned whoever has her, may get frustrated at her lack of vision and quirkiness, and may hurt her.  She is adored by Ale and Ale’s flatmates, who all care for her and walk her. They are currently putting up posters locally in the Finsbury Park, N4 area.

She is microchipped but to an Italian address.  There will be plenty of time to admonish Alessandra about keeping  microchips up to date and not leaving her dog tied outside, no matter how brief a period it’s for. Right now we just need Spinella back. Please keep a lookout for her and call O7522 472 691, 07553918275 or 07904 569 108  ANYTIME, if you spot her or have any information.

She could be any where by now, but if you are in the Manor House, Stoke Newington, Highbury Holloway, Finsbury Park, Stroud Green, Crouch End areas, please be vigilant.
