Moses Fadairo gunned down on Chatsworth Road in Clapton.
Saturdays gun shot victim in Clapton has been named as 25-year-old Moses Fadairo, of Bow, a father of twin baby boys born earlier this year and a four year old.
A post-mortem examination took place at Poplar Mortuary on Sunday, 27 September and gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.
It is believed Fadairo was chased by a group of 3 men and then fired at at close range, before running into Mighty Meats Butchers shop for help. He died in a pool of his own blood outside the shop.
Fadairo who was out on bail on driving while disqualified and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply charges, was due to attend a hearing yesterday at Aylesbury Crown Court, which was adjourned to confirm his death. The former Cardinal Pole student had served as a Talent Scout for Hackney youth advice centre, Off Centre
Two men arrested over the weekend on suspicion of murder, age 23 and 25 were released. The unnamed 25-year-old man was released with no further action being taken against him in relation to the murder. He was then re- arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon and has since been bailed. An unnamed 23-year-old man was released on bail until a date in early December.
A murder investigation has been launched under Detective Chief Inspector Chris Jones from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC)
Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of the shooting and officers continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward.
