Paramedics aid stabbing victim

Police in Hackney are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything leading up to the stabbing of a man on Mount Pleasant Hill, Upper Clapton, this afternoon (Wednesday 25 February).

Officers were called at approximately 2:15pm, to reports of a man stabbed near the corner of Grosvenor Road and Mount Pleasant Hill. They found the victim who had received first aid from passersby, before London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance arrived.

He received treatment for stab injuries and was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
