Detectives investigating the murder of Antonio Rodney-Cole have arrested two men.
The men aged 19 and 22 yrs, were arrested on 4 December at an address in Hackney on suspicion of murder. Both men remain in custody at separate east London police stations.
Officers continue to appeal for witnesses and information following the murder in Stoke Newingtn.
Police were called shortly after 11:30hrs on Monday, 2 December, to reports of a man suffering stab wounds in Marton Road, N16.
A post-mortem examination held at Poplar Mortuary on Tuesday 3 December, gave cause of death as a stab wound to the leg.
Officers believe he was stabbed in nearby Oldfield Road, but got in his car and left the scene, pulling over in Marton Road inches away from the door of a home. Police believe that prior to being stabbed, Rodney-Cole was talking to two men in Oldfield Road. They are keen to hear from anyone in or around the area that saw the victim talking to the two men in Oldfield Road.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the victim talking to the men in Oldfield Road. They are also want to hear from anyone who was in or around the Oldfield Road and Marton Road area and saw or heard anything that may assist the investigation.
