Woman dies after collision with bus in Stoke Newington

A 56 year old woman who was critically injured after a collision with a bus on Saturday 5th October, has died of her injuries.

Emergency service were called at 4.30 pm  to Stoke Newington Road, at the junction with Princess May Road, to reports of bus in collision with a pedestrian.

She was taken to an East London Hospital, where she died in the early hours of Monday (7 October) morning.

The bus involved was a rail replacement, traveling towards Tottenham.

Enquiries continue and there have been no arrests.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call the Collision Investigation Unit at Chadwell Heath Traffic Garage on 020 8597 4874 or the Police non-emergency line 101.
