Police are investigating a fatal crash in Stoke Newington.
A 30 year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision on Lordship Road, near Woodberry Grove in Stoke Newington this afternoon, Saturday 12 October.
The woman is thought to have just exited a mini cab, when she was hit by a Honda Civic.
The male driver stopped at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Today’s fatality brings this weeks total road accident deaths in Stoke Newington to two. Last week, 56 year old Mrs Wieslava Nowacka, died hours after she was hit by a bus along Stoke Newington Road at the junction of Mays Road, N16.
Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating today’s collision.
