Concern over missing elderly Hackney man

Police and family are growing increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of a missing pensioner from Hackney.

William Lee, 77 years, was last seen leaving his home address in the N16 area on Thursday 21 March.

William is described as black, 6ft tall and of a medium build. He has a graying beard and moustache and is known to be well-spoken and friendly. William has gone missing before and was seen wandering around Whittington Hospital, however the current adverse weather conditions are only increasing his families concerns.

Officers continue to conduct street searches and would urge all members of the public to keep an eye out for William.

Officers are particularly concerned as William is suffering from the early stages of dementia.

Mr Lee did not leave with his freedom pass.

Anyone with information should call the Met by dialing 101.
