A man has been charged with the death of 34 year old Gaynor Bale, who was found dead in her Anderson Road home, last Thursday 22nd November.
Douglas Samuel 34, of Mariam Court, Link Street, will appear in custody at Thames Magistrate Court today Monday 26 November.
A post mortem carried out on Friday, gave cause of her death as blunt trauma injury, resulting in a ruptured liver.
At the time 2 men were arrested, but one man was released with no further action.
Tributes have appeared on various social media:
Domestic violence isn’t funny. RIP Auntie Gaynor, I hope the man who did this to you dies in worse pain than you did. Always in my thoughts.
