Man stabbed and killed in Homerton

A murder investigation has been launched in Hackney, after a man stabbed yesterday morning, Wednesday 10 June,  died last night.

Police and ambulance service personnel found a 21 year old man, suffering from  a  stab wound to his chest at Buxhall Crescent in Homerton at 11:47am. He was taken to an East London hospital where he died at approximately 5:30pm.

Officers from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command (HSCC) are investigating.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with this incident and remains in custody at an east London police station.
