About ten youths were chasing the poor lad down Ponsford Street with hammers, a road sign and knives. Once they stabbed him they dispersed reportedly getting on a number 15 bus. Police were fantastic and at the scene in minutes providing initial treatment at the scene until the ambulance arrived. They swamped the area with police but the gang knew how to get away. I just hope there was CCTV on the bus. Hope the kid makes a speedy recovery and gets away from the gang culture if he was involved in any way. The facct there are gangs carrying hammers and knives is terrifying.
