A 19 year-old man was arrested in Hackney this afternoon, Tuesday 3rd at 1pm. He has been taken to an East London police station where he is being questioned.

Kirsty Treloar a new mother of a one month old baby girl, was abducted from her family home on Brownlow Road in Haggerston, on Monday.  She was found with stab wounds approximately 90 minutes later in an abandoned car, in Ryder Mews, Homerton and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her 22 year old brother Dean and 24 year-old-sister Gemma were both found with stab wounds at the family home and were taken to a hospital. Gemma has since been discharged and Dean is in stable condition.

The baby was removed from the home and taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Neighbours have reported hearing the sound of glass being broken, a woman screaming “please please please” outside the house, followed by car door slamming and screeching tyres as the car was driven off.

Police are not saying at this time, if the man being questioned is the man suspected of abducting and stabbing Kirsty and her siblings.
