Six fire engines and 30 fire fighters fought a blaze in a single storey range of buildings including a second hand furniture shop on Marton Road in Stoke Newington, in the early hours of this morning (Friday 12th).

The buildings, including a warehouse and a storage unit, were badly damaged by the blaze. Part of the ground floor in the adjoining property was also damaged by fire. Around 32 people were evacuated from the neighbouring properties as a precaution.
