Cutting East Film Festival looking for young festival programmers in the East End

cutting eastCutting East are looking for the next generation of film festival programmers. Last year the film festival was the youth-led contingent of the East End Film Festival and aims to showcase young talent and create a platform for young people to talk about issues that concern them today.

They are currently looking for people who live in the East London and are aged between 16 to 21 to help organise the next Cutting East festival. No experience necessary, just commitment and a passion for film and the arts. They need people who want to shine a light on the issues that concern young people in East London today.

There will also be a workshop on the 15th January 2014 from 5PM where anyone who is interested or has any questions, can come in and have a talk with the team. It will be hosted by Mile End Community Project at 111 Hamlet Way, E3 4SZ (5 minutes walk from Mile End station).
