Police appeal following collision with car and pedestrian on Brooke Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Stoke Newington yesterday.

Police were called at approximately 7.19 pm on Thursday 21 November to a collision between a pedestrian and silver Vauxhall Astra in Brooke Road, near Stoke Newington High Street, N16.

The 55-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital suffering from a head injury.

He is currently in an east London hospital in a serious condition.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit at Chadwell Heath are investigating.

The driver stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.
