Man arrested in Stamford Hill over alleged indecent assault on child

Police are investigating an alleged assault on a minor in Stamford Hill.

A 24 year old man believed to be a member of the strictly Jewish Orthodox community, was arrested on Sunday afternoon at a Pagent Road address in N16.

He has been bailed to return to a north London police station in July, pending further inquiries.

The arrest has led to a flurry of speculations on various web sites and blogs
