Double stabbing in Stoke Newington

Inquiries are underway after two teenagers were stabbed in Stoke Newington last night.

Police were called by the ambulance service to Amhurst Road near the junction of  Rectory Road, at 8.07 PM on Tuesday, 22 May.

Two youths – aged 16 and 18 – were taken to an east London hospital where their conditions are understood to be stable.

Police say they retain an open mind at this stage on the circumstances of the incident.
