Fatal Shooting in Turnpike Lane

A man thought to be in his mid 30′s was found with gunshot wounds after police were called to Langham Parade, in Turnpike Lane, Haringey, at about 3:30 pm today.

Although Air ambulance arrived shortly afterwards, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Efforts are being made to trace his next of kin

Police have confirmed one person has been arrested but are appealing to witnesses to come forward.  Although they have not confirmed anything other than his approximate age, locals have identified the deceased as of Turkish origin.
