Boy 15 stabbed in Homerton

Police responded to reports of a stabbing outside Rivermeade House on the Kingsmeade Estate at about 2.30  pm today, but discovered that the victim, a boy thought to be 15,  had made his way to Homerton Hospital.

He has since being transported to the the Royal London Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.

Witness have said he was attacked by a group of young men.

Homerton Road at Kenworthy Road is still closed (9:00 pm).
