Three men aged 21, 19 and 20 years old were arrested today, Tuesday 9 June in connection with the stabbing murder of 17 year old Godwin Lawson. They remain in custody at an East London police station.
Godwin, a promising footballer and student was stabbed as he and two friends, walked along Amhurst Park in Stamford Hill in the early hours of Saturday 27 March.
His friends, brothers Julian and Daniel Escobar, were injured in the attack.
Another man, 19 year old Moise Avorgah, of St Ann’s Road N15, has been charged with the murder of Godwin Lawson and attempted murder of his two friends. His next appearance in court will be at the Old Bailey on 16 June.
