Three men arrested yesterday for the stabbing death of 17 year old Godwin Lawson, have been charged with his murder. Daniel Riley 21, of Caledonian Road N7, Koffi Osimeh 19, of Heron Drive N4 and Matthew Junior Lanihun of Charteris Road N4, have also been charged with the attempted murders of an 18 year old and 20 year old man, who were friends of Godwin.
All three will all appear in custody at Enfield Magistrates’ Court today, 10 June 2010.
Godwin, a promising footballer and student, was stabbed as he and two friends, walked along Amhurst Park in Stamford Hill, in the early hours of Saturday 27 March.
19 year old Moise Avorgah, of St Ann’s Road N15, who appeared at Brent Magistrate Court on 3rd April, was charged with the murder of Godwin Lawson and attempted murder of his two friends. His next appearance in court will be at the Old Bailey on 16 June.
