Man Stabbed During Manor Park Car Jacking

A 22 year old man was stabbed during the robbery of his car, on station road, outside Manor Park Station last night.

Police and ambulance service were called at 10pm and found the man with stab wounds. He was taken to an East London hospital where his condition has been described as serious but not life threatening.

A second man was also found with a slash wound to his hands, but it is not yet known,  if both men knew each other. He was also taken to hospital, treated and released.

The car was later recovered abandoned in Queensberry Place, Poplar E16.

Newham police are investigating.
