Tonight at The Vortex: Twin Cities’ debut single launch party

Regular listeners to Radio One’s Gilles Peterson Show will no doubt be familiar with tonight’s special feature at Dalston’s The Vortex.

Hotly-tipped production duo Twin Cities will be hosting a launch party to mark the release of their debut double A-side  ’Raincloud/Anticipation’.

Hailed as the ”Sunsoaked Daft Punk of R&B”, Twin Cities is a collaboration between critically-acclaimed beatmeisters Guynamite and Analog Jones, luminaries of the broken beat and neo-soul scenes. Fans of artists such as Jamie Lidell, Foreign Exchange and the OkayPlayer roster should not miss this event.

Live P.A.’s tonight come from D.Ablo (BogleWaltz), Shea Soul,  Duchy Skriblah & Aina Westlye, and Selina Campbell. DJ sets from Nik Weston (Mukatsuku Records), Phaedrus (Beauty & the Beat) and Twin Cities.
