It’s no secret London is the most “happening” city in the world and East London’s Hackney, the soul and rind of all things cool. Already spoiled with summer festivals established and new, in rolls in the Apple Cart Festival.

A festival like no other, it’s best described as a smorgasbord of music, comedy, spoken word, art and magic.

Some acts already confirmed are – St. Etienne, who will headline and be making their only UK appearance this year, Lambchop, Gilles Peterson, Edwyn Collins, Stewart Lee, Shappi Khorsandi, Kevin Bridges, and many more.

Best of all it’s family friendly, with magic acts and other activities for children.

Under 12′s enter FREE if accompanied by a guardian with an adult ticket. 13-17 year olds pay £15 for a teen ticket.

Catering on the day?  Hand picked traders from London’s best markets; Borough, Broadway and Venn Street market.

Apple Cart 2010 will take place on Sunday 25th July in Shoreditch Park, The entrance is located on the corner of Mintern Street and Pitfield Street, Shoreditch. Doors will be open from 11.30 a.m. and the event will close at 9.30 p.m.
