Shot Hoxton Girl Named

Agnes Sina-Inakoju

The 16 year old teenager shot last night in Hoxton has been named as Agnes Sina-Inakoju. Agnes who is a student at Haggerston School and lives on the De Beauvoir Estate, was shot while waiting to be served at Hoxton Chicken & Pizza just after 7:00 pm, Wednesday 14 April.

Her life may have been saved due to the effort of a passing GP who went to her aid. A local shop keeper said:

Witnesses said they heard shots and saw the victim slump badly injured. A person on a mountain bike fired through the restaurant door at the Hoxton Chicken & Pizza store in Hoxton Street, north London, just after 7pm on Wednesday.

Local resident Matthew Mulden, 27, said: “I heard two shots. Then paramedics were there trying to revive her.”

Members of her family gathered at the hospital she’s at commented: “She was a very quiet person, not a troublemaker”

Her inconsolable mother said: “Even my lovely daughter’s friends have said there was no reason to shoot her”.

The suspects – described as black, aged 14-18 years, and both wearing dark clothing – then made off down Falkirk Street towards Kingsland Road.

There have been no arrests and police are continuing their investigations and are appealing to anyone, with information that may assist the investigation to call 020 8733 4704. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
