Agnes Sina-Inakoju

Agnes Sina-Inakoju the 16 year old teenage girl shot on Wednesday evening at a Hoxton take away, died at the Royal London Hospital this morning.

Witnesses said they heard shots and saw the victim slump badly injured. A person on a mountain bike fired through the restaurant door at the Hoxton Chicken & Pizza store in Hoxton Street,  just after 7pm on Wednesday.

Local resident Matthew Mulden, 27, said: “I heard two shots. Then paramedics were there trying to revive her.”

The suspects – described as black, aged 14-18 years, and both wearing dark clothing – then made off down Falkirk Street towards Kingsland Road.

Detectives said it was too early in the investigation to say if the shooting was gang-related.

There have been no arrests and police are continuing their investigations and are appealing to anyone, with information that may assist the investigation to call 020 8733 4704. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

    It is very, very sad.

I was hoping for the best – and when the reporter mentioned her name, I thought it would be good news.

    I am so sorry.

I am so so very sorry for all her family and friends. I dont know why I feel any different with Agnes than I do with any of the other unfortunate kids that have been cruely taken away from us. I just need to say something. I even screamed out NO !! when I heard that she had died. To her family, I hope with all my heart that you can survive this and find some comfort from knowing that there are people in this world that care. Your beautiful daughter has a fantastic smile and would have surely been a credit to any parent. You should be so proud that you did that much.

Sorry, I feel like I am just ranting now, I am so angry with the world, but most of all London, I was born there, but managed to move out. Please, Please stop this killing and violence. Before another beautiful child gets killed for no reason.

Argh. What is wrong with these dumb young boys nowadays, going around with guns thinking it makes them some kind of man. Look what you have done now. Grow up.

The death of this young woman is truly horrifying and sad for everyone, but this is NOT the governments fault Sandra! If you are going to point the finger at anyone it is the killers themselves, the people that sold them the gun and the parents who did not instil any respect for life into their sons that are to blame.

I live 200yds from where this happened – I have teenage sons – but I know that they are not the ones responsible, and if they were I would not blame the government, or anyone else that was not directly involved – except myself. When are people going to wake up to the fact that feral children ARE their parents fault?

I went to a shop in this area by chance and is deeply saddened that yet another useless killing. As a mother myself I cannot even think how devastating this is for the family. This cannot carry on we need to do something and I am appealing to all youngsters to help us as parents to stop this as I believe only the youths can tell us how we can stop another parent suffering this tomorrow. To the youngsters:What do we need to do or say to stop the gangs, stop the carrying of knives and stop the guns?
