I have had an overseas shoot postponed at short notice and like to keep busy, so will be offering makeup (and hair) tutorials, as well as a bridal/party service at a greatly discounted rate during this time. I began my career as a professional MAC artist, going on to work with such clients and celebrities as mentioned below, as an in demand freelance artist. You can see more of my work at www.lucyg-makeup.co.uk Tutorial sessions are great fun as well as educational, and what we cover is tailored specifically to you, or your group should you choose to come with friends. If there are problem areas you want to master, such as liquid liner or the smokey eye, I can teach you; if you want to learn a range of celebrity or camera ready looks to suit you we can cover everything from the basics through to the finished looks; If you want to become a makeup artist, I can also advise you on areas such as kit and portfolio building, testing, how to make money when starting out, obtaining counter work, agencies, assisting and more. I will come to you, with a fully stocked kit, and also have access to great product discount for yourself if required afterwards. A little about myself; I've been a makeup artist for over 5 years now, recently assisting such fantastic artists as Alex Box and Ashley Ward and working with such esteemed photographers as Nick Knight, Ellen Von Unwerth and Bryan Adams on most of the high end magazines you could name (looong list)! Other recent clients have included Pepsi, John Rocha, Swatch, Agent Provocateur, the Elle Style Awards and Illamasqua Cosmetics with celebrity clients including Beth Ditto, the Pussycat Dolls, Roisin Murphy, Rosie Huntington Whitely and Erin O'Connor. At present I am offering tutorials at the discounted price of 3 hours for £70, 6 hours for £120 and a full 8 hour day for £140, with bridal and party rates variable (see "services" section of website for more details - I am offering a 25% discount on these prices at present!) however there are other packages available.
